The Problem: to support a 40-pound solid jade horse that was broken at the base of the two hind-legs during shipment.

The Solution: to create a steel cradle that supports the sculpture along the center at three points and is welded to a square tube base further adding to the overall stability.

A patina was applied to the steel and lastly, a clear satin sealant was applied, permanently protecting the metal from the elements.
